PASS Client Interface

PASS Client Interface (PCI) is a seamless, cost effective solution for programs that must interface to the Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) Publish and Subscribe Services (PASS). PCI enables programs to become PASS interoperable in a significantly reduced time frame, leading to savings in money and resources. PCI provides a very robust, easy to use interface to the PASS enabling end user applications access to the PASS data. PCI provides the capability to publish, subscribe, sync and retract topics and also provides an optional end to end mapping capability for JMTK based maps. PCI seamlessly handles PASS Server failures and failover scenarios, has been validated against all the Army's systems for interoperability, provides data compression, and supports all PASS XML data types. PCI has undergone extensive PASS certification testing and has been rated "green" by the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) in Fort Hood, Texas. It is fully compliant with PASS ICD 1.1C and provides a robust set of data validation tools. It also provides an unprecedented test suite to validate your PASS implementation by simulating all respective ABCS data feeds. Additionally, it provides a complete array of administrative tools which provide critical functions for PASS integration. The PCI software mitigates difficulties inherent in the PASS architecture while saving your program time, money and resources.
